Who we help
Is your plan still the right fit?
Medicare plans change every year. A yearly review keeps you from paying more than you need to, or losing a doctor you count on.
What changes from year to year
Medicare Advantage and Part D plans can change their premiums, copays, drug lists, and provider networks every January. Each fall your plan mails an Annual Notice of Change that lists what will be different next year. It is easy to set aside, and it matters.
Signs it’s time for a review
- Your premium or drug costs went up
- A doctor, hospital, or pharmacy left your plan’s network
- You started a new medication
- You moved, or are spending more time in another state
- Your income changed and you may qualify for Extra Help or a Medicare Savings Program
When you can switch
The Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 through December 7, with changes effective January 1. If you are in a Medicare Advantage plan, you also get one change between January 1 and March 31.
We review current clients’ plans every fall at no cost. If you aren’t a client yet, you are welcome to bring your current plan to a free review.
